Mansoor Al Qarni
Mansoor AlQarni is an accomplished strategic financial leader, with almost 20 years of extensive experience of providing strategic recommendations and leadership in various high-profile capacities, in both the private and public sectors.
Currently serving as the Vice President of Shared Services at World Defense Show, Mansoor oversees Digital and IT, HR, and Support Services, alongside his existing duties in Finance and Procurement. This role aims to streamline the finances and support functions of the World Defense Show for optimal efficiency and transparency.
In 2021, Mansoor joined the World Defense Show as Chief Financial Officer, a year before its successful inaugural event. Reporting directly to the CEO, he was responsible for all aspects of financial and procurement strategy and implementation, leading a shared services team. His expertise ensured the World Defense Show was accurately benchmarked against other global events.
Mansoor's career highlights include serving as Executive General Director of Finance & Procurement for the G20 Saudi Secretariat. Awarded king Abdulaziz medal for his contribution during Saudi Arabia’s G20 Presidency.
He has also held numerous public sector roles, such as Financial Advisor to the Assistant Minister and General Director of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Transport. In the private sector, he has worked with local and multinational companies across various industries, including banking, telecommunications, oil & gas, and aviation.
Mansoor holds a BSc in Accounting from the King Saud University in Riyadh and an MBA in Accounting from Troy University in Alabama, USA.
