The future of defense cannot be forged without today’s young talent. As a driver of Vision 2030’s national workforce development ambition, World Defense Show’s Future Talent Program will connect 5,000 exceptional STEM students to career opportunities and apprenticeship programs in the defense sector.

01What is World Defense Show?

World Defense Show is an interactive platform for governments and industry thought leaders from across the global defense and security supply chain, to help shape the future of defense. Every two years, the show will provide insight and access to technological innovations that are shaping the defense industry, from start-ups and innovators to established multinationals. As one of the world’s top spenders in the defense sector, Saudi Arabia’s geographic location and international presence allows the kingdom to serve as the ideal location for such a show.

Please carry a form of identification with you at the show - preferably the same identification with which you completed the registration process (Iqama/National ID/Passport). Furthermore, you should also have your student ID with you. Not having any of these documents may impact entry to the show.

If your academic institution has not provided you with a student ID then you may proceed by uploading any evidence of your enrolment to the institution and course.

World Defense Show is proud to host students interested in the industry and careers in defense and security. As part of your participation in the Future Talent Program, you will receive a digital certificate.

Registration

01Do I need to register in advance?

All attendees will require a pass to enter the show. To register, use the link provided by your school or university. Only registered students will be able to attend the Future Talent Program.

Individuals can register for a Trade Visitor badge on the World Defense Show website but need to be a professional working in the defense & security industry. All badges are non-transferable, a friend or family member may not attend the event in your place.

Students are not required to purchase a pass to the show. Free admission is granted to individuals registering through an invitation link provided by enrolled institutions. Please contact your school/ university to confirm participation at World Defense Show.

Your badge will be provided to you via email once the registration process is complete. You will need to print the badge in full colour before attending the show. You must ensure you arrive with your printed badge as it may impact your entry to the show.

As a student or academic visitor, you must only register using the email associated with your academic institution, this will be the email to which the invitation was sent. If you register with a personal email or one that has not received an official invitation, the application may be rejected or delayed.

• Students must submit National ID or Iqama as part of the registration process through the official invitation link
• The ID photo must be clearly visible and recognizable
• Students must also provide a Student ID or proof of enrolment as part of the registration process
• Students must ensure that any Hijri dates are accurately converted into Gregorian upon registration

Transportation

01Is there an arranged transportation?

Please check with your university/schools/college/vocational center administrator for transportation options.

Students should avoid bringing private cars to the event. It is highly recommended that you consult your educational institute regarding transit as they will likely be arranging transit from your institution to the event. This will be the most favourable option should you wish to avoid traffic.
