World Defense Show is Saudi Arabia's international defense platform - founded by the General Authority for Military Industries. It brings together governments, military leadership, and industry across every domain - air, land, sea, space, and security - as the Kingdom drives one of the most ambitious defense transformation programs in the world.

Saudi Arabia has committed to 50% military industry localization by 2030. World Defense Show is where that ambition connects with capability, investment and partnership.

In 2026, WDS brought together:

• 1,486 exhibitors from 89 countries

• 137,000 visitors across our 800,000 sqm venue

• 61 of the world’s top 100 defense companies

• SAR 33 billion in deals and announcements, alongside 67 MoUs and 13 agreements

The next edition will take place 16–20 January 2028 in Riyadh.
